Three People went missing over Bridge collapse in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar, 30th June: Three persons went missing in Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

Three persons including the driver went missing

The Vehicle in which they were travelling fell into the Siyom river when a bailey bridge collapsed at the place. An official said, “All these happened at around 8:30 am on Tuesday when a dumper carrying boulders was crossing the Sanggam Bridge.” Deputy Commissioner Atul Tayeng informed that the three persons, who went missing are identified as Rahul Tamang (22) who was the driver of the vehicle, Ranjit Sutradhar (21), the handyman and Mitinga Bormo (19), a labourer.

Rescue operations are still going on

An FIR has been filed by the BRO and an investigation team has been made for detailed Investigation of this case. Both NDRF and SDRF teams were sent to the district for rescue operations.

Construction of new bridge will start soon

The BRO OC has informed that the logistics data regarding the new bridge formation will be delivered within 2 days to the higher authorities. He also informed that the construction work of the new bridge will start soon and it will take at least 2 months for this construction. Support of local people is highly sought in this matter so that further accidents do not occur.
