Three Men Lynched To Death In Tripura, Suspected As Cattle Smugglers.

Agartala, 21 st June: Three men in the Khowai district of Tripura were lynched on suspicion of cattle theft. Khowai district superintendent of Police, Kiran Kumar informed that the names of the three accused persons are Zayed Hussein (28), Saiful Islam (18 )and Bilal Miah (30). All of them were residents of Sonamura.

Accused were found fleeing with five animals

According to the statement of Police, Villagers found the three micreants fleeing with five animals. A mob stopped the accused persons at Uttar Maharanipur which is 10 Kms away from the Village.

The trio was sentenced to death by the mob

The trio was beaten by the mob and were rushed later to Govind Ballabh Pant hospital where they were declared dead. Two separate cases were filed by the Agartala Police. 

Cases of mob lynching is increasing in Tripura.

Mob lynching is not a new case in Tripura as the state is in news for multiple mob lynching from the year of 2018. No one has been arrested yet and the investigation is still going on. Agartala Police have assured that the actual news will soon come in front of everyone. Mr. Kumar is personally looking into the matter so that the cases of continuous mob lynching can be controlled in Tripura.
