Sikkim: Two women doctor got abused in CRH(Central Referral Hospital)

Two women doctor got abused in the emergency ward of Central Referral Hospital in Tadong, Gangtok. The management told that ,the whole incident took place on Thursday, by two drunk person. Both where there for the purpose of admitting his father in the hospital.In the process of admitting they started hearing abuses and using obscene language on the women doctors. These two where resident of Chanatar, Rangpo in East Sikkim district.

Punished as per following sections

Sikkim police had arrested both of them, they were identified as Bikash Dhungel (28) and Shankar Sharma (30).
They would be punished as per Section 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), Section 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) and Section 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The whole scenario

The whole incident in the emergency ward, when the two women doctor where attending the emergency patients in the ward. CRH official management said the whole incident carried on for a time being, till the other doctor interrupted. CRH management also notified that adequate treatment where also provided to the patient. On 11 june the whole hospital team joint hand against the incident and filed a complain on both. The whole complain soon converted into FIR, and they where arrested by the sardar police station priory. On the other hand patient has also been discharged from the hospital.
