PM Narendra Modi interacts with North eastern state chief ministers over covid-19 situation

Guwahati, 13th July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed his concern over the COVID-19 situation in the Northeastern states of India.

PM modi discussed with the CMs of North-eastern India

PM Modi interacted with the chief ministers of the Northeast states to get a clear idea about the COVID-19 situation in the region. PM Narendra Modi said that experts are reviewing the matter very carefully and the actual situation will soon come in front of the public. He assured the citizens to take preventive measures against COVID19.

Prime minister told the citizens to be careful

PM Modi said that if the citizens will not wear masks, it would not be possible for the state government to support them in the situation. He assured during a meeting with NE CMs to help them. PM Narendra Modi praised Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for his contribution in reducing and controlling COVID-19 through micro-containment and not enforcing total lockdown.

Arunachal CM also expressed his thoughts

Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu said: “Arunachal is focused on Test–Track–Treat–Vaccine Strategy to control coronavirus.

Meghalaya CM also shows his concerned

Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma said, “The prompt action and support from the central government has immensely helped Meghalaya in their Covid fight.
