Notorious Rhino Poacher arrested in Assam

Guwahati, 9th August: A notorious rhino poacher has been found involved in the poaching of animals at Kaziranga National Park. It has also been reported that he is involved in the rhino horn trade. The poacher who has been identified as Rahimuddin was arrested on Sunday. He is a resident of Nilbagan in Assam’s Hojai district. The man surrendered before the Kaziranga DFO Ramesh Kumar Gogoi.

Forest officials said Rahimuddiun was involved in several cases of rhino poaching and illegal rhino horn trade. He was given anticipatory bail in a rhino poaching case registered against him. The notorious couture surrendered to Kaziranga DFO office after getting bail another case of rhino poaching was registered against him. According to past records, he was involved in several cases where he was arrested by the forest department of Assam.
