CM Biplab Kumar Deb announces ‘ Chief Minister’s Child Service Scheme ‘ to look after the children who have lost their parents due to ongoing COVID – 19 crisis. The scheme has been started so that no child’s future will be pushed to darkness, added Mr. Deb.
Some important key highlights of the scheme are :
- The state government will take responsibility for their education if any child loses their parents due to Covid through this project.
- In case of children taking shelter with their close relatives, the state government will pay Rs. 3500/- monthly till the age of 18 and those who stay at home, their full responsibility is of the government.
- The state government will provide laptops or tabs for these children to further their higher education when they pass class-after class.
- Apart from that, the state government has taken one more decision in this ‘Chief Minister Child Service Scheme’ that an amount of Rs. 50,000/- will be helped at the time of marriage to the teenage girls who lost their parents in Covid.
He concluded by praying that no child should go through such sufferings and if they do the state govt. will be there to help as much as possible.
