Nitin Gadkari introduces new road projects in Manipur

Imphal, 18th July: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari announced a new road project on Monday. He laid the foundation stones of about 15 national highway projects in Manipur. These projects are expected to improve communication across the state.

Total cost for the inauguration of the roads is expected to be 4,148 crores

The roads under this project have a total length of 298 km and it is estimated that the total cost will be Rs 4,148 crore. Nitin Gadkari pleaded with the Manipur government to cooperate with his ministry. He said that the support of the state government will increase the rate of success of this project.

Measurement of any kind of issues is done at the initial stage

Mr. Nitin asked the government to evaluate if any kind of issues can occur during the root construction projects. He said, ” We want to eradicate poverty and create employment potential”. He also assured the Manipur government that the infrastructure of Manipur will improve so much that the people will get A comfortable lifestyle.
