Mizoram: Minister announces attractive cash reward for the person with maximum children

Aizawl, 22nd June: Mizoram minister has decided to offer a cash reward of Rs. 1 lakh for the living men or women having the maximum offspring in his constituency. Sports, Youth affairs and tourism minister of Mizoram Robert Romania Royte announced this cash reward to encourage demographic development of Mizoram.

Mizoram has the second lowest population density in India

Based on the lowest population density, Mizoram is the second state just after Arunachal Pradesh. This state has a population density of 52 people per square kilometre.

Sports minister is encouraging the Mizos to have demographic development in the state

Robert stated that it is high time to encourage the Mizoram population to increase their population so that Mizoram can also be a part of development activities of India.

Mizoram is having baby blooming programs

Various organisations in Mizoram are also giving emphasis on the baby blooming process so that the number of people in the community can be increased. Where the other states of India are working on population control policy, the Government of Mizoram wants to increase their population. Maximum number of children for giving the cash award has not been specified by the authority.
