Mizoram : Lockdown Extended by One Week More In Aizawl.

Aizawl was under lockdown from 5th of June which was scheduled till 14th of June. On Saturday, the Government implemented new guidelines which said that the lockdown was extended till 21st of June. The reason was stated as the continued rise of the new covid cases despite prolonged lockdown.

New Guidelines :

Residents are not permitted to move out of their compound.
Members living in the same build or housing complex are not allowed to visit each other during lockdown.
The government has restricted intra-state or inter village movement except under medical emergencies or any other exceptional cases.
People of different villages and towns are interdicted to visit each other.
Shops that sells essential commodities in the AMC area are permitted to open till 8 amm
Shops having agricultural seeds and equipment are also allowed to open from 5 am to 5 pm.
Shops that deal with school textbooks, motor workshops and spare parts will open on Tuesday.
Those who sell construction materials, computers, and mobile phones will be unlocked on Friday.
Hospitals, pharmacies, banks and non-banking financial institutions , police stations, LPG storehouses and others are free from lockdown, etc.

Covid Updates :

In Mizoram, the total covid cases are 15,267. Out of which 3660 are active cases, 11545 people recovered and 62 deaths according the update of DIPR till 13th June.
