Meghalaya: Government allowed 15% taxi services to be allowed from Monday

Shillong, 26th June: The Meghalaya government informed that 15% taxi services can be operated from 28th June. The decision has been taken in a review meeting

The health minister Al Hek informed that the decision has been taken in a review meeting in line with the high court order. 30% of tax services are allowed in the east Khasi hill areas and 15% taxi services are allowed in Shillong.

Some guidelines must be followed

There are some guidelines which must be followed by the taxi drivers and the residents. The taxi operators must have covid-19 vaccination report with their vehicles. He also informed that restaurants and hotels will be opened but only for home delivery and takeaways It is also allowed to open tea stalls in the rural areas but any kind of food cannot be served in the tea stalls.

The CM twitted all the guidelines

The CM of Meghalaya has hoped that such facilities during the lockdown period will be helpful for the common people. He has twitted all the key guidelines which must be followed from Monday
