Meghalaya CM says making NE a strong economic zone is important

Itanagar, 20th October: Meghalaya Chief Minister showed his concern about the condition of the North east zone in a conclave in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday.

Many eminent people of northeastern zone were present in this meeting

Not only Conrad K Sangma but  the Cabinet Minister James Sangma, Tipra Motha chief Pradyot Bikram Debbarma, Assam Jatiya Parishad president Lurinjyoti Gogoi and several other eminent people also attended the National People’s Party’s conclave at Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday.

The CM addressed to the importance of making North East zone strong

Sangma discussed the importance of making Northeast India a strong economic zone in this conclave. He said, “At least fifty percent of our issues are related to the economy. In the coming times, we have to plan an economic agenda. No doubt political agenda is important and we will not ignore it. But we cannot neglect economic development at this moment”.

He said that the economic agenda is more important at this moment to help NE zone

He also said that politics is important for the improvement of the states but sharing good communication with the public is way more important for development.
