Human hair worth over Rs. 2 crore recovered in Manipur

Imphal, 26th June: Troops of Assam rifles recovered human hair worth over Rs. 2 crore near Tengnoupal district of Assam. The Tengnoupal battalion of Assam rifles launched a search operation near the smuggling area near Kwatha Junction.

Several bags full of human hair were recovered

An official said, “Thorough checking was done by the troops of Assam rifles near the area. Several bunny bags containing human hair were found in this area after the checking.” He also added that strict actions will be taken against the persons who are involved in this case. Investigation is still going on to get more information about the matter. The rescued bags were handed over to the customs department for investigation.

Smuggling activities are increasing day by day in Manipur

The Manipur government has given strict orders to reduce the anti-social activities and smuggling matters by giving preventive measures. Smuggling cases are common in Manipur and also increasing day by day. It is high time to take proper actions to mitigate such activities.
