Dibrugarh, 14th November: Free breast and cervical cancer screening camp was organized by the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The program was conducted mainly to make the female aware about the importance of taking care of their private body parts.

The camp was organized in the Assam Branch in collaboration with Assam Branch Indian Tea Association (ABITA) at Jokai Central Hospital (Panitola TE) on Friday.
Female residents above thirty years where mainly targeted in this
The camp targeted female residents who are married and above 30 years from different tea estates under Panitola Circle of ABITA Zone 1. The consciousness of the female workers in the tea garden should be ignited by the program.

The camp was inaugurated at 10 am in presence of Sailen Goswami, Additional Vice-chairman, ABITA, and chairman, ABITA Zone 1, Madhurjya Barooah, Secretary, ABITA Zone 1, Dr Prerona Kisan, Gynecologist, IMA and Dr Mukul Bhattacharyya, Zone 1 Medical Coordinator and Circle Medical Coordinator, Panitola Circle.
