Foundation stone laid for Don Bosco College boys’ hostel in Itanagar

Itanagar, 12th July: The foundation stone of Don Bosco College Boys’ hostel was laid in a simple but impressive ceremony. Mayor of IMC Itanagar Municipal Corporation, Tame Phassang laid the foundation stone for the new hostel for boys of Don Bosco College at Jullang.

Several eminent people were present in this ceremony

Many dignitaries such as Chairperson of CPM-Jollang Tana Taha Tara; DBC Director, Itanagar Father Jose Chemparathy and other members of the college and IMC attended the function.

Covid-19 protocols were maintained during the ceremony

The event was organized by maintaining the COVID-19 protocols in a strict manner. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Tame Phassang assured the college authority that the IMC will extend all possible guidance for the college. They will surely ensure that the institution can render its services to the people of Arunachal Pradesh as well as the nation.

The mayor expressed his thoughts regarding the hostel

The mayor said, ” A large number of young people are addicted to drugs. It is high time to be conscious and reduce the increasing drug addiction among the young generation.” He appealed that the hostel should be free of such antisocial activities.
