Curfew in Shillong is going to be relaxed from 5 am to 5 pm on Thursday

Shillong, 20th August: The Meghalaya Government has announced that the curfew will be relaxed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday.

East khasi hills district administration issued the decision

The announcement came on Wednesday by the East Khasi Hills District administration. It is also known that the curfew will be reimposed from 5 pm on Thursday till 5 am on Friday.

Both the shops of essential and non essential commodities will remain open

Both essential and non-essential shops will be allowed to remain open till 4 pm. The government offices can also be opened till 4 p.m. Emergency services can be opened throughout the day with permission from the government.

Vehicles with valid passes will only be allowed to run

Only the vehicles which have valid passes will be allowed to move. However, commercial vehicles will be allowed to run. Any kind of public gathering on meetings are not allowed during this period. Only activities permitted by the government will be allowed. All the citizens of Meghalaya are requested to obey all the protocols to maintain peace all over the state.
