Crop cafeteria is inaugurated in Assam

Tezpur, 30th July: MLA of Tezpur, Prithiraj Rabha inaugurated a crop cafeteria on Tuesday. The main target of this cafeteria is almost 15 varieties of paddy. The cafeteria has been inaugurated at Bam Parbatia pathar under Parbatia Panchayat. The Deputy Commissioner, Bhupesh Chandra Das and officials were present in this program.

Many eminent people were also present in this program

Besides this many eminent people from the Agriculture department, Zilla Parishad member, AP members and GP president were also present. The agriculture Department of sonitpur has also contributed to the inauguration of the cafeteria.

The characteristics performance and production of different variety of paddy will be monitored

The crop cafeteria will look after the characteristics, resistance, production of different varieties of paddy. It will be kept in mind that all the varieties are planted under the same conditions on a trial basis. The officials will closely monitor the program.

Many arrangements are done for the easy identification of the variety of paddy

The crop cafeteria is using labels with tagg with specifying each plot and details of the variety of paddy planted for easy identification of the crops. The Assam government is very hopeful about the scheme as it can be helpful for increasing the production of paddy in the state.
