Construction of Majuli-Jorhat Bridge will start From 30th November

Guwahati, 20th November: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that construction on a new bridge will start from 30h November.

The chief Minister said about returning to the river island

The Chief Minister said that he will return to the river island on 30th November to lay the foundation stone for the new bridge. The new bridge is part of the PHE department’s Solar Piped Water Supply plan at Namoni Jakaibowa in Majuli.

Assam CM told about his opinion on the new bridge

Assam CM Hemant Biswas Sharma said, “A new bridge will be established over the River Brahmaputra at Majuli. The first pile foundation will be started on November 30 and the bridge will be completed in four years”. The schedule of the new bridge construction will also be known after a while.

Several construction projects were also done before

The Assam Government has taken several construction and development projects for the country. The construction of Dispur Flyover worth rupees 127 crore in Assam, The Chief Minister promises the citizens for another flyover soon to be constructed in Guwahati.
