Celebration of Dalai Lama’s birthday in Arunachal Pradesh

Bomdila, 8th July: A throng of people in Arunachal Pradesh gathered to celebrate the 86th birthday of Tibetan spiritual and political leader Tenzin Gyatso who is the 14th Dalai Lama. His birthday was celebrated in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday.

Followers wished him happy birthday and prayed for his healthy and long life

The followers of the great spiritual leader gathered at the monastery to pray for his long and healthy life. A program was held to make a tribute for him on his Birthday. All the followers and eminent leaders gathered in the Tupchong Getsling monastery to celebrate his birthday ceremony. Many Prominent people such as MLA Dongru Siongju, West Kameng DC attended the program.

A tree plantation programme was held by the Buddhist Society of bomdila

A tree plantation programme was held to celebrate Dalai lama’s birthday. Bomdila Buddhist Society came forward to guide the tree plantation programme on the occasion of the Dalai lama’s 86th birthday. A large number of trees were planted in the Pedung village, near Manjushree School.
