BJP MLA in Tripura demands cattle protection bill and population control law

Agartala, 24th July: Assam Government has already introduced the cattle Protection bill to ensure the reduction of slaughtering of livestock in the state. Being influenced by such a step of Assam, BJP MLA of Tripura has also demanded some strict laws related to population control and cattle protection in the state.

The BJP MLA talked about the importance of the demanded laws

MLA Sudhangshu Das of Fatikroy assembly constituency said, “Both Assam and Tripura have a high population in terms of geographical area. We should move legislation on population control in our assembly too”. He also said that the resources of our country are very less and hence preventive measures should be taken as soon as possible.

Mr. Das will move the proposal in next state assembly

Mr Das also informed that he will request a proposal in the next session of the state assembly where he will talk about the importance of both the laws.

The MLA showed his faith in the Tripura government

The MLA reposed his faith in Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb. He also showed his hope that the CM will not disappoint him when he has demanded for the development of the state.
