Assam Government directs employees to join office from Monday if fully vaccinated

The Assam government has directed all its employees, who have received both the doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to come to office from Monday, 14th June. This order has been given at a time when partial lockdown is in force in the state. The order has been released by the Commissioner and Secretary of the General Administration Department, M.S. Manivanna. As per the order, this decision has been taken to ensure smooth functioning of government offices.

 

The Order

 

Manivanna said “In order to ensure smooth functioning of all government offices, the Government of Assam directs all its employees who have received both the doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to work regularly from June 14, 2021,”

It has been said in the order that all the employees who have the qualification will have to comply with the rules related to Covid-19 prescribed by the government while working.  Manivannan said, “This order has been approved by the concerned authority.”

 

Curfew Rules in the State

 

Under this, curfew has been imposed from one o’clock in the afternoon to five in the morning and there is a complete ban on the movement of people. All shops and commercial establishments have also been ordered to be closed after 12 in the noon. There is also a ban on inter-district transport and movement of people from one district to another.  An ‘odd-even’ system has also been implemented for vehicles.
