Who is Tagit Sorang Abraham?


Abraham Tagit Sorang became the second climber from Arunachal Pradesh to scale Mt Everest, the tallest peak on earth, this 2021.Hailing from last village Pipsorang, Kra Dadi district, last Indian village near China border achieved history as YOUNGEST Everester , hoisted Tricolour, Arunachal State Insignia, Helping Hands Insignia at Mount Everest.

IPS Officer Robin Hibu hosted congratutory dinner in his home toasting cheerily with fresh Arunachal popular wine – Naraa Aaba, roasted pork ribs with Naga akhuni chatni from Naga Kitchen, South Delhi .

YOUNGEST Everest Climber Tagit Sorang Abraham has joined Helping Hands as member – he reiterated ” its privilege to join Helping Hands who works for needy north east people in cities.”


He has a dream of promoting healthy and adventurous Arunachal Pradesh and north east by setting up North East Adventure Institute for grooming future Everest climbers and to attract adventurous tourists in Arunachal.


While appreciating his historic achievement, IPS Robin Hibu advised him to be role model as a youngest Mount Everest Climber by remaining fit, promoting adventurous life, giving hope as role model, how he struggled from his village without road, electricity, water could climb Mount Everest.

His indomitable spirit is a message for all sluggish lazy youth, who always blame the society for their not making mark in life. Salute to this young hero- IPS Robin Hibu, Delhi
