Arunachal Pradesh government reports the highest single day spike of covid-19 cases

Itanagar, 14th July: Arunachal Pradesh reported its highest single-day spike of 566 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. According to the report, The highest single-day record earlier was 497 cases which were registered on 29th May. 6140 samples were tested and after that, the new cases were detected. It is found that the positivity rate of this detection was nearly 9 percent.

Three strategies are being used by the state government

The government is found to follow three strategies to stop the spread of the virus. The three strategies are extensive tracking and testing, vaccination drive and enforcement of Covid-appropriate behaviour.

Without being vaccinated or RT-CPR test, no one will be able to enter the state

Chief secretary Naresh Kumar said that any person entering Arunachal Pradesh needs to be vaccinated. Without the RT- CPR test, external visitors cannot enter the state.There are two RT-CPR testing units in the state.

The state government is very much concerned about the matter

Arunachal Pradesh government is very much concerned about the factor as the single day spike of covid-19 cases indicates that the cases are still increasing in the state. The CM of Arunachal Pradesh has assured the citizens to take preventive measures as soon as possible.
