Itanagar, 14th November: The Arunachal Pradesh government approved a total of 192 roads under the phase three of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY-III) on Friday.
The Yojana covered 25 districts of Arunachal Pradesh
The Pradhanmantri gram sadak Yojana covered 25 districts in the state. The approval came at the State Level Standing Committee (SLSC) meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar here. The committee approved a total of 192 roads with 1,375 kilometers length which would cover 78 blocks in 25 districts of the state, an official communiqué informed.
The priority will be given based on the eligibility area
The road projects under PMGSY-III would be taken up on priority on the basis of several eligibility criteria. The Centre has set the date of completion for the PMGSY-III roads by March 2025. The rural works department (RWD) is advised to set up the task of completing the roads by March 2024.
The completion of the project will surely be helpful for the state
The citizens of Arunachal Pradesh will be highly benefited once the project of Pradhan mantri sadak Yojana gets completed within 2024.
