At the age 42 former boxer Ngangom Dinkgo singh passed away, he was one of those great inspirational person who also inspired Mary kom, and several more people including boxers.
In 2020 he also got infected with covid 19, but as we know, he is a fighter in his real life, he got recovered soon, but due to that his body condition was not in good health.
Since 2017 he was also getting treated for a prolonged illness, liver cancer, where he had to undergo radiation therapy for liver treatment also, while going on with thorough treatment he had to sell his house for his medical expenses.As we know dingko lost his parents on tender age, he grow up in an orphanage in Sekta.
We will remember him, in our heart, with heavy heart we have to give him farewell. He brought many awards for our nation, he was known as a bantamweight boxer who won a gold medal in 1998 Bangkok.

He was also worked as coach for time being, and he was the part of Indian navy.
Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh tweeted, and showed her sincere condolences to the bereaved family.
She also said “I’m shocked and deeply saddened by the demise of Shri N Dingko Singh earlier in the morning today. A Padma Shri awardee, Dingko Singh was one of the most outstanding boxers of Manipur has ever produced. My sincere condolences to the bereaved family. May his soul rest in peace.”
Suranjoy, who is chief boxing coach of the Navy, told all the boxers to observed two minutes of silence before they started their routine on thursday.
